Job Description
Volunteer firefighter role involving combating, extinguishing and preventing fires of all types. Firefighters will be trained on safe emergency operations, fire apparatus operation, power tools (Jaws of Life), and fireground procedures. Members respond to approximately 600 calls per year, with 70% being medical emergencies.
Requirements: Age 18 or older, valid Connecticut driver's license, satisfactory driving record, pass background checks and physical exam, Firefighter I and II certifications required or provided through department training
