Job Description
Full-time career EMT/Firefighter position responding to all Fire & EMS-related emergencies within the Millville Fire District. Responsibilities include riding both Fire & EMS apparatus, operating fire apparatus, daily checks and maintenance, light station duties, and DEMRS chart review. Works a rotating 24-on, 48-off schedule with a Kelly Day.
Requirements: 18 years old, High School Diploma or GED, NREMT & State of Delaware EMT Licensure, CPR/AED, Delaware EVO, valid Driver's License, Basic Firefighting Skills, Structural Firefighting Skills, Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous Materials Response Skills (or NFPA equivalents), ability to lift 150 lbs with assistance, pass background check and drug test
Salary: Hourly wage of $20.76 an hour (Approx. $56,000 yearly)
