Career Firefighter

Currently hiring for the position of career firefighter. Responsible for firefighting techniques and procedures, fire prevention, emergency medical response, and maintenance of buildings and apparatus. Must have thorough knowledge of firefighting principles and ability to work effectively with associates and the public.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, NC Firefighter Certification, NC Hazardous Materials Operations Level, NC EMT Basic Certification, Valid NC Class B driver license, Successful completion of agility test and NFPA/OSHA physical. Preferred: NC Driver Operator Emergency Vehicle Driver Certification and/or NC Rescue Technician Certification

Salary: $45,100 annually based on a 56-hour work week
